These people are very tough as they insist on clean and simple which doesn't give me much food for the serps to chew on.

BTW, a database is being worked on to get this listings served up in html.

If there is one thing that bugs me its links that get offset by a "bold" tag onmouseover. Makes the text around them scatter and looks terrible. Mouse over a link in IE you will see what I mean. Other then that, your client has the right idea, by keeping it clean and simple it gives you less chances to clutter up your code and honestly "Lake Wallenpaupack Real Estate" should be attainable with some nice link partners and thats about it.

You have one broken font tag but other then that the only other intial complaint I have is the fact that you've gone way overboard on your meta keywords. It just reflects poorly on the designer during a critique as most people know by now the meta keywords tag is not even used in 90% of search engines so it just makes the code look spammy, I know it worked in 01 so its hard to let go but time to get rid of it :-) If your going to use the meta kw for ink just use the keywords that are in the pages title, which of course will also occur onpage. I would also increase the font size a bit, its hard to read.

Ok thats my nasty stuff lol, I like the color scheme and the layout and I really think the concept has some good potential. It doesnt look overly salesy and I would honestly take a look around if I landed there.

Her goal is to to rank well for Lake Wallenpauck kw's and we'll expand off that as the site grows. Thanks for the kind words and the advice

Its a really good approach, from their perspective and yours from a marketing standpoint. When they see the ROI they get with a small budget on small keywords they will soon realize the comparable ROI with a big budget on big keywords and you get recognition and a big payday for doing a good job.

Directory should be up by tomorrow I think and they are welcome to a spot in it :-)

I'll certainly take you up on the directory too.

This approach has served us well in our offline business for a long time. Under promise and over deliver.
