    Default Two-site approach

I have only been on the forum a few days, but already I have learned a lot, so I thank you all for that.

The Realtor I work for, Jerry Self, draws a great deal of traffic to jerryself.com through newspaper and other traditional advertising. This page is not optimized, but instead targets people who would not get on the net to search for an agent.

I've launched the second site, Wichita Real Estate Central, to bring in some search engine traffic without compromising the design of the first. I've laid the plumbing, and will start going after links agressively this week.

Any thoughts on whether these two can co-exist, and what can be done to increase ranking on the latter page?

    Thanks,
    Michael Phillips

Provided they are not dupicate copies they should coexist fine. In order to promote the latter build as many links as needed with the appropriate anchor text to rank #1 for all in anchor on Google for each search term of interest.

Then optimize each page for the same search terms of interest, H1, B, I, H2...

Whichita real estae, Whicita homes for sale...should be a good starting point for target search phrases.
