Just clicking through some recent blog entries and I thought this was a great idea, and one that can be made every month

Pay close attention to how Jim formatted it, it was pretty slick, beside each of the areas he posted stats on, he posted a deeplink into his site for access to those listings

838 active listings for SW Calgary Houses for Sale (665 SW Calgary Condos for sale)

Now also think about this post from a user perspective, it is not just a bullshit post to try to get backlinks, that is actual information that I would want as a potential customer of Jim's

Now this is just one great idea, and I thought I would point it out, it doesn't mean that what you other bloggers are doing isn't great as well, so share the wealth after all helping each other is what this community is all about.

When I was writing about the market conditions in my areas, I thought about doing that. Unfortunately for me, I have no way to show someone all of the listings with my el-cheapo IDX! That is a great idea and certainly provides a benefit to an interested reader. Also provides another reason to go custom IDX.
