I think it's amazing how some search terms according to wordtracker have 500 searches/day and with #2 on yahoo for that term I get maybe 5 hits/day. Is that because people just click on the top links, paid advertising?
Just wondering.

I think it depends on the internet user. I have some clients that click anything they see and wonder why sometimes they get viruses... they click those ads like drinking water! Other friends of mine are relatively net savvy and hardly EVER click those and cause they know that person just paid 0.25 - 15$ or so to place it there.
