Here we go guys and gals,
The Real estate magazine publisher would like to give his two cents.
I publish three complimentary real estate magazines in South Florida. I would like to disagree, for obvious reasons, with the general statement that “print is dead”. I do think we don’t read the news paper like our parents did, but we still love those magazines. Focused print marketing is still a great option. Why?
1- It shows your sellers that you are proactive in the sale of their property.
2- Buyers are looking for these magazines when looking for a home
3- Usually you have a buyer who is higher in the buying cycle. The result quality calls.
4- Over 80% of homes are sold through a realtor. Who looks at these magazines? Realtors. You guys like to see what each other is doing…
5- As mentioned, geographical focus puts your properties in your farming area.
What I recommend is you choose a magazine that offers strong internet presence. Beware of local magazines which claim to have a great website or those who subscribe to out sources for listing exposure. You will get lost with properties from who knows where.
