Need Help Converting

On my Nuhome source site (Link in Sig) Can any one tell me what i can improve to get more convertion. I am getting a little traffic just not getting forms filled out.

I am only one Msn right now and gaining on yahoo. i am at 1600 uv already this month but not alot of form filled out.

That's easy - require registration on your home search. First allow them to search without having to register, then allow them to view listings information (Basic View) but when they click over to details ask them to sign up, present it as a helpful service, not forced registration.

ok, well i will try to do that. I currently am having a problem with my hosting company and trying to decide about a redesign and to move to a different company for servers. in the last few days they have been cleaning up the errors on the server and reset my page back a month. So now everything i have done is back to NOTHING. They has done this 3 times in the last three months. I am So mad if they where in Texas i would have some by the neck.

And move the search box way up the page so people can see it w/o scrolling down.

Bigger, more prominent phone number? Lots of people just call without clicking a thing. If you don't answer they call the next site.

Give them an incentive, rather than just "Contact Us" - Something like "Get Info On Local Homes" would probably increase your leads right off the bat.

I just set mine up, as Morgan suggested, with login required to view property details. I'll see if my registrations pick up!

I don't agree about requiring registration. The way my IDX works they can look indefinately without registering and they have to register in order to save or print listings. I have plastered all over my site that I won't call them unless they call me first even if they register. I have about 3500 uniques a month and I get never less than 1 and frequently more, sometimes up to 5-6 phone calls or emails a day, asking me about specific properties that they have found.

I turned my registrations on and within 24 hours got 9 registrations. One was obviously a fake (Nanya Business), but 9? Phew!

Yeah i dont require regisration but on my site in toal i get about 18000 uv a month or more. On my Fort Worth site i will hit 9000 this month, average 400 a day i think. But i get about 5 to 10 idx leads a day and 4 to 5 forms filled out. Yesterday i went to the office for the first time in months. I took three calls got one listing already listed and two possible sale, showed them homes yesterday. I know one will sign today, the other will look a bit longer.
