    Default PRWeb.com

    I'm really looking into using preweb.com to get some solid backlinks. Does anyone have any experience with prweb? What level of service should I go for? What is the best type of content for prweb? Any particular pointers?

    Thanks!

    I believe the min. investment required for a press release with keyword anchor text is $200. They also limit the # of links you can utilize based on the total # of words in your release (although they are sometimes flexible with this).

    Good luck!

    Eric;

    The last time I did a prweb release was several months ago in a non real estate industry. We did some at a level around $85 then (if memory serves). Decent results. Not great, not awful.

    If you do some (or one) at a $200 level, please let us know how it turns out. I will be doing one for an autism related site next week (or possibly the week after-depending on when they want the announcement to go out) and will get back to you on what that brings in.

    If you want to hang on 'til then, I will let you know how mine works before you do yours...

    Best;

    I have done several press releases using PRweb and I have been happy with the results. Many of the press releases get picked up by other sites and the press release just gets more exposure. I try to do a press release every 2-3 months.

    I never submit anything to PRWeb for less than $200. More than worth it.

    I used their full-meal deal about 3 years ago, and it generated significant traffic to my old site (which wasn't indexed at G at the time). If you're going to spend the time to write quality copy, spend the $200

    It seems to drive traffic, and it seems to be pretty useful to get the word out about a website. How is it for providing backlinks? Is it useful for generating backlinks?
