    Default Link building article

http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...arey/409/show/ - still have more to add to it, still need to deal with purcashed advertising, peer to peer, blogging, and link baiting via content development on your own site, but tis a start - hopefully tis a good read for those looking to really get into their link development strategies for this year.

I have a question that relates to article writing and building links too fast.

If I write 5 articles a week and then submit those articles to 200+ article websites, that’s a potential for 1,000 links in a week, or 4,000 per month. Now I realize not all of the sites have the same authority, so they will not all count equally, but that still seems like a lot of links in a short period of time.

Am I looking at this correctly, would that really count as that many links?
    Is that too fast?

    Thanks,
    Calum

First of all, multiple links from the same domains is not the same as multiple links from multiple domains thus your 200+ links from article submission sites would only count once.

Next - Article submission sites take different times to evaluate and approve articles not all at the same time

Next - Google doesn't know about these accepted articles until they are spidered. Different article repositories have different PR, and architecture thus the disparity between times of spidering is increased even further.

Is that to fast? Well ummmm, First let me ask you something, do you know of 200 article sites that are worth submitting to? I don't, especially in real estate. Remember we want quality not quantity, just because a website will accept your article doesn't mean it's worth the time it takes to submit.

Next question, if you were writing 5 articles per week, you probably aren't paying enough attention to your on page writing. Or I guess you could just be like me and up in front of the comp till 2 in the morning 7 days a week.

I owe you a PM Calum, will try to get to that tonight

I think your right on with quality rather than quantity - You can easily get hundreds of thousands of backlinks to a site but that is not going to help with SE rankings - the PR is going to look nice but that is about all. I would say right now looking at web 2.0 as part of your linking strategy is a must do.

Definitely and informative articel. I've had the most success with the article writing and submitting it to ISnare. I check the amount of article views periodically and they seem to get the most there (as well as Ezinearticles.com). I've seen the articles pop up on other sites and blogs, but they never seem to end up on a page of any significant pagerank. Maybe I just need to be more patient.

Don't sweat the pagerank, you are getting a one way link from a relevant article
