I can not figure out yahoo serps. I have been tracking KW's using googlerankingsdotcom and it checks to see if a keyword is in the top 1000. I have decent rankings in MSN and moving up steadily in Google. Nothing has indicated that my site was even on the map for Yahoo. All of a sudden, yahoo has my to keywords at about 120 and 60. No slow moving up, no reason that I can come up with to jump that quickly. My site has been indexed for months. What's up with the quick rise? The only thing new is that I am in DMOZ as of a week ago. I can't see any patterns the way you can with Google and MSN.

My experience is that I didn't have any rankings for the first 2 months (yahoo)and then almost every keyword went to either the first or second page. Rank almost everything first page MSN but google won't let me rank the least competitive keywords.....8 months and counting in the sand!! I can't seem to figure out the serps either.

Yahoo just totally baffles me. My home page is nowhere to be found under my keywords. However, an Advanced Access site that my wife no longer uses is on the 3rd page and has no backlinks.

Yahoo must be a woman -- she changes her mind everyday it seems. Last week we were #2 for a realllllly good keyword. Today I checked and we are #21.

My Yahoo rankings go from #4 to #30 all in a given week. That is why Google gets all the traffic now. Yahoo is a very unreliable search engine. Look who gets there number 1 spot. Usually a spammer.

Yahoo is a bit different as I have found myself - you need to be a bit consistant with yahoo. You can get 100s of links in a week or month but if you do it steadily it helps, also right at the top of your page (index.php) etc - under <body> I use 3 of my key word phrases right at the top like - cheap property in spain | cheap spanish property | cheap property for sale in Spain.
Yahoo seems to use the first paragraph of your text of the file, maybe this might help you.
