I have a lens selling custom tshirts I design with insane slogans and graphics. Does fairly well. Had it for a couple years now. I was reading on their blog how google penalized them at one time claiming some of their lens were too spammy. Some pages are pretty long and repetitive in keywording. I have noticed recently that the real estate lens are growing in popularity.

My lens (http://www.squidoo.com/which-is-the-...ent-in-the-uk-) has had 1 visit in the last week! woop woop.

The clickthrough rate from that 1 link is 0% but its more about a backlink than traffic I guess.

I think like any social media (Digg, Delicious, Forums) you need to put alot of time and effort into the community, building relationships, making friends, commenting on others' contributions, before you see anything back yourself.

Some people have written hundreds of lenses and have many followers and so will benefit, but for the odd lens here or there, dont expect too much.
