Question Where is it that we find content

I have been thinking about building my own website, however the one thing that concerns me is providing content, fresh content, neighboorhood stats, calculators, etc,....

point2 does a very good job at doing this, however if i decide to do my own website, where could i go to get free legal content???//?

Right here - We will be adding a free content section here, which is basically a compilation of our staff created content, as well as member submitted content. The only caveat is that a credit for work link must stay in tact if you are going to use it. Basically provide a backlink to the author from the article.
Starting LEC 7 soon but it won't be called LEC 7 - LEC 2012 coming soon!

Or you can sit down in front of that keypad and write about your own unique talents and knowledge. The interesting thing is you can learn a lot about your area of specialization by sitting down to write about it.

I have a site that I am putting together for free content.

    www dot freerealestatearticle dot com

It just went live recently. In addition to the articles already posted, I have over 200 articles in my inventory that I haven't posted yet. Just haven't had the time to get them posted!

For what it is worth, the purpose of any sort of "free article distribution" is to garner inbound links for the site providing the service. If you want to do well in the serps, you will need original content. Having said that, I wouldn't put more than (if any at all) 5-10% content on a site that is located elsewhere. If you do not intend to strive for search engine positioning, then free articles are the way to go.

Another option is putting copied content (legally, of course) on a new site, then replacing it with original as you have time.

Note: I tried unchecking the box "Automatically parse links in text" and it did not work. Can a mod make it 'not live?'

Just insert an extra space or spell out "dot"

I've done that, and the link still resolves to the website!

I know the parse thing works as I've seen others do it. Maybe I have to uncheck it before I insert the link?

You can type in any domain without the www. and it should not be live. That's the easiest way and most browsers can take a cut & paste url without www. and get the site. Let's try it:
    realestatewebmasters.com
Money Magazine says that Orland Park real estate is one of the best places to live in the U.S. Check out Homer Glen homes if you're interested in living in the newest Chicago suburb. Next door, Lemont homes are the priciest in the southwest suburbs and have held their value, even appreciating while prices in other areas have gone down.

Got it and thanks! Thought it would be simpler to cut and paste an url, then uncheck the parse links box.
