I think MSN almost has the opposite effect. Everytime I add a bunch of new pages or create a new site and link it heavily it takes off. After a little while the rankings will drop until more updates are made... Since traffic is 1/8th Google I don't worry about it as much but there is definatly not much of a sandbox.

I agree my new content always takes off with MSN. I have top rankings for a bunch of relative terms in MSN/Live.

No sandbox effect to my knowledge.

MSN is great for new content and new sites as like you said, after a heavy link campaign MSN loves your site death.

I dont know why people dont like msn more, I dont think its too bad.

I don't think so. I even use MSN if I am looking for new info on something, or I always notice that I am always indexed in MSN first, whenever I post a new page, or interview.

Definitely no sandbox. If anything there may be penalty for age.

No sandbox. In fact, MSN ranks sites faster than any other search engine. The only problem is that it is....MSN.
