new blog signup issue

okay, this may be a really dumb question, but I am having a problem with sign up.. i filled out the form, validated and now trying to claim my blog.. i'm guessing that is what im supposed to do.. it's asking me to fill out the form again.. when i enter my username and password it gives me the following error:

Invalid Login Credentials, Please try again

since the original form was a request form, do i fill it out again???

Hi there Kevin,

The reason you received an error message was because the blog signups are not instant and require approval from an administration (webmaster or myself). Your signup requests is fine and I just approved it. You should receive a notification email informing you of this and your account information.

IMO i would put that info on the signup page.

i did get the email. thanks.
