    Default MSN Traffic Google Traffic

Has anyone noticed an increase of traffic from MSN / Live since Vista / IE7 has rolled out? On our site we are seeing some better results from MSN recently - it's pretty hard to tell if it's just the usual flux or if things are on the up for MSN since the release.

We get very little traffic from MSN, no surprise, but I did notice a very slight increase in traffic recently.

I would never suggest at this stage we get any serious volume from them but it is up in recent times - Pages(internal) also seem to be holding in their index which is nice.

I have a realtively new site. It "debuted" on MSN in 3rd place, then dropped to third page, now I'm steady in the top five. I am getting about 20 visits/day from MSN, so I'm pretty happy. Not sure how this would stack up to pre-Vista, but my stats show that only ONE visitor this month (out of over 250) was running Vista.

How is the long tail strategy working for you?

In looking at referral stats of feb 2007 vs. all of 2006, MSN traffic has remained steady at 7%.

MSN traffic has remained constant - accounts for 5.4% of my February traffic (vs 73% from Google)
