    Do you have any stats that would back this up or just your opinion? To be honest my thought are purely my opinion as I can't see any reason that there would be a difference between the two links.

    I guess I am wondering why you feel there is a difference if the page is crawled daily or weekly.

    no, I don't have any data toward SERP's as it would be quite an eterprising test. I guess with two dummy sites one might get some reliable data but it's just not feasible for me now.

    I do know that the more a link gets followed the more my page gets hit and on subsequent deep crawls the more pages get indexed and my own cache dates become more current. It's my assumption that a page can't get a "vote" toward SERP's unless it gets hit and the more it gets hit the more votes it gets.
