MSN is funny - site up for 1 week & ranked page 1

I've actually been 1st page since week one for my most competitive keyword and never have moved off the first page in the nine months. Never know with serps.

I'm the same. I reached #1-2 spots (sometimes more than that with my multiple sites lined up) and have stayed there ever since. Unlike most of you, I get a lot of my traffic from MSN.

msn has been good to me this month, i had almost 1000 hit from msn this month alone. this is by far the biggest month. This is on my fort worth site. For some reason it has about 600 different keywords listed in the top ten i gues. I have many long tails.

Now my Nu home Source site doesnt see the same thing, it has had 300 hit from msn but it hits for Dallas Terms. For some reason people looking for Fort worth use msn.

All my other site like 4 others are highly ranked and are getting alot of traffic also from msn. Haslet , arlington, denton, Dallas County and a few more. They are all around 300 visitor from there. Google and yahoo havent showed these sites any love as of yet.

My nuhome and fort worth site rank on google and yahoo but dont get alot of traffic yet. Fort worth site is 7 For fort worth tx real estate on google and nu home is number 10 on yahoo for dallas texas real estate.

MSN and yahoo always spit out funny results, MSN is not hard at all to achieve good results quickly.

Just a good optimised site and lots of links for MSN is all you need.

I've had the same experience as above. Some pages I have worked hard on later dropped in the rankings and then some that I applied little time to, have ranked in the top three for very competitive keywords. Go figure.

Yeah, MSN favors new sites, then kicks them to the curb once they age. Where have I heard this before...LOL
