I was comparing rates for my clients today with local lenders and had quotes of 5.875% to 6% with no points. I think it is great to be 6% and below again. Between the rates and deals sellers are offering to buyers - it is an awesome time to buy a home. Wayne

Nice graph - 5 years below 7%.

Things have really tightened up now. We have a loan office next door to our office that does mostly secondary loans. They are about to shut the doors. They were kicking high this time last year.
