    Default E-mail Applications

This is what I need to do:
    • Take the email addresses that I get from my IDX registration.
    • Place them in a group (not a distribution list because it shows everyone elses email address in the "To:" line) and send them a newsletter or whatever I would like on a schedule that I set a reminder for. This way, I have full control of what I say, how I say it and how it looks without using some third party contact management system.
Is there a way to do this in Outlook? I am not that email savvy!

    Thanks in advance

Got it. Thanks. There was a little more to it for me. I have custom newsletters that look like my website with live button links to my search page and contact me...stuff like that. I had to send it to myself and save it in a folder. When I want to send the newsletter, I have to open the sent newsletter and click forward. Then I go to my contacts (that are seperated into a "prospects" category and it pops them all in a new email. Then cut and paste the addresses from the new email into the bcc for the email that I am forwarding with my email address in the "to" line. Sounds like a lot, but, it takes less than one minute for the whole thing.

    Awesome. Who needs TP?

You should be able to do that quite easily in the backend of your REW site:
Click mailing list, then click add new member group, call it whatever you want like mailout or something. And save it.

Then go to to Add new campaign. Give it a senders name (Ryans newsletter) or whatever, an reply email, and a description so you know what campaign it is.

Activate it, set it to the member group you created, and off you go

Sounds more complicated than it is
Starting LEC 7 soon but it won't be called LEC 7 - LEC 2012 coming soon!

I have tried this before and I just set up a new test to myself with two emails for today and tomorrow. In the past, I never received the test emails I sent to myself so I will see if it works this time. The other problem is that I have a newsletter that I created in MS Publisher that converts automatically through outlook with an addin called listbuilder to a live webpage in an email with button links and good calls to action. So I need to be able to use these as I think they are better than just a text email. I created them to look very similar to my website for branding purposes and familiarity. I don't think I could add that to my backend so I am kind of stuck. Plus, I would then need to add the email addresses to two places. Can you import email addresses to the backend? Maybe I can use both, some newsletters, some text. I will have to see if the test emails come to me today and tomorrow from my backend. It may not be working....
