Default What to do with Rental Leads

Scenario: You are receiving on average 10-20 rental leads/day (300/month), and no longer have the time to work volume because you are focusing more on sales.

What is best option that will produce maximum income for your rental leads?

Should you sell leads on a cost per lead basis to a partner company who can handle volume? If so, what are best channels to search for potential partners?

Should you find another agent to partner with and work out a referral fee? What would be a reasonable commission split with this type of referral partnership?

Can you hire rental locators to handle rental leads if you are currently licensed with a broker?

hire an agent to work them.

Create a team. You are the lead. You get a big cut of what business you give him and a smaller cut of what he gets himself. Like hiring a buyers agent to work for you. I will say that from what I have read, you are better off hiring an office type assistant first to free you up to do what it is you do ---sell,sell,sell.

Ryan, very true. You are better off hiring an assistant or two.

I'm just past my RE test here in Phoenix and planned to hit this group for marketing. Can you give me any tips on how to do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you have more leads then you can handle a team is the way to go. Our team is 7 agents and growing. By having other agents to take care of the buyer and rental leads it allows me to focus on generating more leads and take more listings.

ken, are you a broker or do you just work with other agents within your own group/team? How do you handle comm. split and how would you track converted leads? I've received several bids from different companies who would like to partner with me to handle rental leads. Most will pay per lead or per closed transaction. I'm more comfortable going with per lead bec. this channel is easy to monitor.
