Default Anybody tried yahoo answers for link placement ??

    Hi All,
I am talking about getting your link listed in the source field of the yahoo answer's answer form. It gives you a free link and a place in "results from yahoo answers " section just below the normal search results.
    Give it a try !!

I have been answering questions on there and occassionally link back to my website(s). It provides decent traffic (but nofollow tagged). Anybody else using it? I see some of my competition has done a bit of work on there as well.

There is currently a question on there asking for a place to stay in REW's neck of the woods, so it reminded me of this forum.

G and Yahoo have been indexing my answers and they eventually get picked up by other websites and archived under FAQ's (don't know if the nofollow goes away at that point or not).

Anyway, it might be worth a look.

I guess anything is worth considering if it brings decent traffic, regardless of the effect on placement. I have tried to find some good questions to answer on there, but I haven't had much luck lately.

You are correct about the questions. I am thinking of starting a bank of answers that I can just plug into the repetitive questions!

I know. Kind of wish they didn't. My yahoo page has a stupidly high PR that I wouldn't mind getting a part of.

We use it here and there; it's not worth much traffic, but it the traffic we get from it has higher conversions.

Answer Bag is another good place to get some decent traffic. I answered a couple of questions there. They also use no-follow but I generally get a couple of visitors from there every day. Not a ton of traffic but they are quality visitors.
