I hate to ask this because it's been asked so many times....
but I'm a newbie in the industry and have read on here and other forums, books, etc that blog is good for serveral reasons, but as a new realtor, should I be doing this?
Background: I'm a "buyer's specialist" with a top producer realtor. I am pretty much working off of her---she gives me leads, I send my customer's to her website, she does all the advertisting for us, etc. We're essentially a "team". Since I don't even have a website (yet) should I be blogging?

Read through our blog forum. Some of it pertains to REW blogs but it's mostly basic info. You don't have to have a website to start a blog. The Orland Park site in my signature is a Wordpress blog made to look more like a regular website.
Money Magazine says that Orland Park real estate is one of the best places to live in the U.S. Check out Homer Glen homes if you're interested in living in the newest Chicago suburb. Next door, Lemont homes are the priciest in the southwest suburbs and have held their value, even appreciating while prices in other areas have gone down.

She might be able to set up a TP blog for you.
Anyone can blog
But you would be doing it to get yourself known to others. If you work only with this other realtor, you may not want to, since if you present yourself in a good manner, you might find other 'teams' wanting you.
If you're not remembered, you never existed.
