I don't like the adsense at the top of the page. They look a little spammy. I also think the selections on each side are too many. Maybe make a subcategory for them, if possible? I find it distracting. Other than that, maybe a logo or something would be good. You don't really know who's site it is once your there... All that being said, I think it's a cool layout... just needs less, I think.

I've taken a look, it does have quite of few things that I would sugguest for usability.

The first thing I would consider is the left column navigation. That is good placement for your navigation link, but there is far too many and no consistant flow pattern.

My sugguestion for that part of the site would be to cut back the number of links and group them into sections. You could easily take ALL those links and convert them into 4 or 5 links. People dont mind clicking, as long as its mindless. (IMO) <- I got to use it!

Consider these headers to seperate your links? "Queen Creek News", "Hot New Listing" (for premium listings and new listings), and "Search by Community" as one link and then display the communities in your main content section.

Constructive criticism -

The frontpage is massive ! You probably need to shorten it or have #top links to navigate back to the top, or links to the different paragraphs that you have - just to make it a bit more user friendly.

It's a pity you don't have a really nice header at the top of the page - it just makes the site more inviting and professional.

You have some good content on your site - I just think that with a bit of tinkering about the site would work a lot better.

I have removed all the ugly and cumbersome links that were on the right hand side of the page. I have made changes to the top of the page, but I will heed Spanishproperty's advise and create a "really nice header". As far as the massive amount of links, I will have to rethink how I present those.

I really like your navigation on the left, that looks very crisp.

Can I ask how much money you make off your adsense on your homepage? Do you really make that much money that you would want to send users away from your homepage?

Beef up your title, description, and keywords meta tags to make them applicable and appropriate.

Regarding the Adsense....

I average over 1500 page load a day, so not too many people are leaving the site.

I own about 75 different domain names. Mostly subdivision names here in the East Valley in Arizona. I make enough money so I get my domains for free, web hosting, etc. Basically, it allows me to have a free marketing machine. Once I get all the sites up and running, I would like to take off the Adsense. Until then, it pays the bills.

How's the condo market back in Beantown?? I moved to Arizona from Boston in 2001.

I am so glad I am a member of this site. I finally figured out how to update my menu's on my site!! I have my many,many subdivision links and now they only appear on my "real estate" pages not the main page. The index page looks less busy now. Still not absolutely finished with it, but I absolutely love how it has turned out so far.
