MSN Main Keyword Ranking System

I think content and backlinks are king in MSN. I still dont like the engine but i think if you have the content relevant to the search you'll get listed easily in MSN.

I haven't ever really figured out MSN. We are #1 on Google for most of our main terms, and we rank #1 to 3 on Yahoo. On MSN, we are lucky to be on the second page most of the time for "real estate" terms, but we dominate on "homes" terms for Austin. We used to rank well on both, then we suddenly dropped into the 20's for no apparent reason.

However, I have noticed that our NEW content pages do rank well and rank quickly on MSN, so we get a decent amount of traffic for related stuff, like restaurant info, schools, weather, etc.
