Bulk emailing software.

I was wanting to check to see if anyone is using bulk emailing software to send out information on listings, newletters, etc... I am startingto send out about 10,000 emails a month, I just wanted to get some information on software that would make this process alot easier.

You could always check and see if your host provides "Mailing Lists" [assuming you're not spamming.]

If you read my post you would have seen that, these are past clients and people who SIGN up on my website. I do not think that would be considered spam. Also, I have already checked the server that hosts my website, 3000 emails is $30 a month( I would rather pay for the software and do it myself).

I know. Not spamming, I hate the 50 emails I get a day from someone in Nigeria that just inherited $50,000,000 and wants to invest it in real estate.

I'd also be interested to hear of a good recommendation for bulk email software. We had been using a service, but it was very expensive - $0.10 per email w/o tracking and $0.25/email with tracking...

I guess I'm spoiled. My host offers "unlimited" email at no additional cost.

Well I do not see anything hard to program it. In PHP e.g. I have done one such thing. I've programmed contact management software which is in PHP and allows each user send MASS emails. But AFAIK, we have got problems with hosting provider due to SPAMing... It was fault of one user.

easy to use, but you have to use your SMTP with your hosting company.. so if they charge you, lol, for emails sent, try getting another host for $3 a month where they don't change you... mine suggests sending anything over 1000 at a time to do them later at night, but other then that, no limit....

also, that guy from Nigeria.. he's MY client - I have the email that proves procuring cause!
