    Doh'.

Having articles for every single subdivision should do wonders for your long tail, and also help with having quality unique content on the site. Do you plan on also doing SEO for these neighborhood pages, or do you plan to let the sites current PR, etc., bring up the SERPS for these pages?

Eric, it took me a minute to think of what might be missing from the type of neighbourhood info you mentioned in your opening post.

How about aesthetics? What does the neighbourhood LOOK like? Are the streets wide? Big front yards? Fences, landscaping, architecture? Two story modern homes? Forest at the end of the road, or a 7-11? Views? What colours do you see when you picture this area in your head? Is there a lot of street hockey or soccer? Sidewalks or no? Cool street lamps?

Also -and maybe this would be covered under "benefits"- you could say something about the neighbourhoods' culture. I don't mean ethnic stuff - I mean what kind of feeling pervades the place? I know this is moot for most American neighbourhoods (and Canadian ones too), where people don't even usually know their neighbours, or care to. But if you're servicing one that's different, better to say so!

(Let me take a moment to brag about my neighbourhood. I live on a little island in our city's harbour, and everybody knows everyone else (except me - I'm new). Check out what I said on my site's Protection Island page.)
