Default Stumbleupon.com - Anybody else use it?

Just wondering if anyone else uses stumbleupon. It's not exactly a search engine, users enter their preferences/interests and click stumble. It will throw up sites relevant to your preferences I think it's a great way for site promotion.

I have the toolbar installed on my laptop, was playing around with it, never really appealed all that much to me. http://morgancarey.stumbleupon.com/ As you can see, I didn't do much at all heh

I know what you mean Morgan, I was like that when I first installed it but I think it was more because I was looking at Stumbleupon through the wrong eyes. I was thinking more of what it could do for my site and site promotion than I was thinking about the benefits of the tool to the end user. For example I've only recently started using it for my own interests. I have setup my preference for real estate. I use it when I've got a free 15 mins. It's great tool to get an overview of real estate websites, it's an easy way to monitor competitor sites, view new technologies in the industry which in turn can be added to your site.

I like stumbleupon. I have been using it for promoting my site and at times when I get bored. :_) It even gives me back links from my site.

I'm a fan of the Stumble, as well.

I have not tried it yet, but now that Kiddisco and Benmode have suggested it, I will give it a shot when I have some time, though I already have 2 tool bars installed, so screen will start getting a little closed in.

Love the StumbleUpon. Submitting your own blog entry is great and cant hurt you. Especially if you have good content this can do some wonders.

I have found it to be useful submitting sites or posts which link to my site to SU. The idea is to supercharge those links by adding more value to your incoming links and the sites which link to me.

    SU also sells traffic.
