    Hi Seo-guy,
Quick DMOZ question for you, One of my sites is listed in a real estate category by it's town instead of the Region like I would have liked. They service the entire Pocono region but this particular site is listed in Hamlin PA (population 7 where the office is located. All their competitors are listed regionally for the Poconos. Can I get this changed or do you think it's more trouble than it's worth? I guess my question is...what would Seo-guy do in this situation

    Default DMOZ timeframes?

Hey Seo-Guy! Are the DMOZ submissions done on a regional basis? I was wondering if there is an expected time frame for real estate sites or if it is a reflection of volume of submissions in a region?

Rich, My experience has been that submitting later in the evening goes alot faster with fewer errors. I'm guessing that's due to the volume of submissions. I would resubmit on the 404 but there's a forum where DMOZ editors will respond.

Angry Re: DMOZ Isnt a search engine

Don't tell anyone but I know someone who is an editor there <----- a Hhmmmmm ..... But I STILL was denied my listing (asked in that special forum with my "webdesigner hat on") and the nice folks there wouldn't tell me why when I asked about the log remarks next to the denial... they claimed "many are for lack of orginal content" ... I think I got shafted.... Obviously I have tons of more work to do on the site - who doesn't right? but still... Anyhow. A bit disappointed at the particular dmoz editor right now.... Sorry just had to vent... Anyone have Orginal Content I can borrow..LOL (J/K)

Thanks for the tip. I followed these guidelines and was listed in less than 60 days.
