Thumbs down How to write optimum Googlese

Here are some good tips, directly from the horses mouth. I chose to give this link because it is a good basic foundation for most websites. We loose track of a few of these suggestions from time to time.

Try to improve your content mix using what you learn from these reports. By keeping an eye on what the analytics are telling you, you'll learn more about your visitors and be able to provide just the information they are looking for.
This plays right into the Blogalytic discussed earlier this year http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...arey/246/show/

I agree. As difficult as it seems for me to understand sometimes, almost because I think I want it to be tricky, what they are saying here (at least to me) is to really use a common sense approach and follow some simple technical concepts, which follow common sense as well, like using descriptions that actually have something to do with your content, which makes it easier for the spiders to make a good connections between the content and so forth.

It also reads a little bit like a paper on how to write. Period. Internet or not. No spam...

    Good read. Thanks

Ryan, that is the problem with the whole SEO thing, it is ALL common sense, however people over analyze and always look for "shortcuts" that actually take way more time just to find and test than it would have taken them to apply a little common sense in the first place. Google et al, are based on the principals of writing pre-google, sure lots of web centric algorithms have evolved out of necessity but the core is still very much in tact.

Thanks for the link. For a newb, this is a very simplistic approach to understanding the concepts behind what makes valuable content.

I agree with webmaster that if people spent less time worrying about the shortcuts they could have already produced a high ranking site...
