Default Click markers and email maps

I played around with the google map tutorials today and thought the click markers would be an alternative to buyer request forms...

I would like to have visitors click on the areas they prefer and email me the map.. this is what I have so far..

Any clues on how to do this, I got no answers to my post on Google API forum

Have you investigated google's myMap feature? I think it would be neat for this particular use to have your user hand draw a polygon on the map to show the area they'd like to search.

Having them place markers on a map is a little misleading - I'm sure they want to search more than just that particular point in town.

I can help you find houses for sale in Houston and also write at this blog dedicated to real estate technology for agents. I originally created this Houston Real Estate site and switched to REW - awesome decision.

A polygon would be too confusing for users, the desert is full of golf communities, it would be nice if they could just click and chose the ones they're interested in, then click send in email.

I updated my google map component and lost all my markers for new developments and cannot get it working on the site, so I decided to put maps in frames, but I lose the community links and CB interface..

    thanks
