EDU Sites : Is there a secret to get them linking to a site?

Linking to an .edu site has been a challenge for me. What technique has worked for you and what hasn't?

You could enroll as a student and link from your student web page. Or better yet, bribe several students to link to you from their personal sites. I hear they like Ramen.

Or, you could make a small financial contribution (scholarship) to a student in the Real Estate Department. Maybe a $500 per year scholorship towards books or something. It'd probably get you some PR or a mention on the website ... or you could make a web link a criteria for the scholarship.

Actually, when I was at my first college, I was the only kid eating real food. Then again, I wasn't buying 48 packs of mountain dew either.

I used to hold cooking classes, charging them of course, to teach people to cook steak chicken pasta... bbq... etc lol. That's how I was able to afford good food

A webmaster is someone that basically codes, designs, essentially is the MASTER of that WEBsite

If you go to work in all leather with a riding crop, well that's just up to you.

He was basically saying, that you could offer some seo/webmastering services, in return for some sweet sweet link love.
