    Default Firefox tuning

I've noticed some of members is using Mozilla Firefox as a default browser. I found this info on some blog, how to tune up Firefox.
    1. type about:config to address bar
    2. change following values to true:
      network.http.pipelining, network.http.pipelining.firstrequest, network.http.proxy.pipelining and increase value of network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to 16
    3. nglayout.ititialpaint.delay set to 0

Note: this will increase number of connections and you can download faster websites with a lot of pictures etc.

Note2: if you have too slow connection (<128kbps) it will slower your Firefox

Try the EditCSS extension of FF. It's not 100% bug free but it is a nice toy to see the effects of CSS changes on a particular page you're viewing.

Someone said Mozilla automatically blocks pop ups. Is that true?

Yes, most of them. Although there are a couple sites (seriously only 2 ) that I get a pop up once in while. Firefox is becoming more widely used so people are writing pages that can give you a pop up on Firefox. It is very rare but not impossible. I also get less spyware when browsing with Firefox.

Just go to the Firefox Extentions from the "Tools" menu and search for it.
