free-press-release.com gives you 5 releases with 1 link each for $3 or unlimited without links. Spring for the $3 bucks, create 5 really good releases once a week.

I prefer to create my own pr list by collecting email addresses from targeted magazines and online. Only for BIG news do I use a paid newswire service.

prbuzz.com is worthy of investigation, but they haven't been releasing articles as often as they claim. However it is free and I suppose you get what you pay for.

Do any of the free or low cost Press Release companies do all or most the thinks that PRWEB does for you? 80 Dollars a pop gets expensive.
