Yahoo Actual Number VS Google Ranking Check Site

No complaints here. My site is six months old and I finally landed on page 6 of Yahoo(#57) for the top search phrase in my area. Considering I was at zero last week, I'll take that as a good sign.

My question is I use googlerankings.com to check status. It says over and over that I am #8 in Yahoo, yet I am at #57.

Does anyone know if this is a glitch, or is yahoo perhaps in the process of updating.

don't bother with those online ranking tools, are not working properly. I'd tried a couple by myself but I just gave up because the results are just far away from reality.

The last used tools were from bestseotools.net. You might find some interesting stuff there but as I said those showing the ranking are just crap.

best way is to just type in your keyword in SE, even some of the best software seems to give you skewed results

Just typing your keywords into Google search will not return your competition!

Instead type "allintitle:your keyword", without the quotation marks. The results will show you who's having in Page title your keywords, likely they are your competitors.
