How do you guys respond to a link request that has more than one link in the HTML code? You are supposed to copy and paste their code exactly. They want a link to the home page plus your sending three other links to their inner pages. I have noticed a few of these recently. It is like they want three or four links for one.

Actually it seems like a good idea! I could use a link to my home page + buyers page + sellers page + market analysis page!

What do you say to these people? Maybe I should create some code that has a similar number of links to my inner pages. Is this a new trend?

If the links that they wanted exchanged all point to one site, I tell them it's got to be an even trade. If you insist that I put mutiple links up for your site then I will want the same and just write some code that have links that point to multiple pages within my site.

Duh! Why didn't I think of that? I already(begrudgingly) took one of these multi-links without thinking of asking for the same. The other day I saw a link request where the guy's info was 1/4 of a page long! Give me a break...
Money Magazine says that Orland Park real estate is one of the best places to live in the U.S. Check out Homer Glen homes if you're interested in living in the newest Chicago suburb. Next door, Lemont homes are the priciest in the southwest suburbs and have held their value, even appreciating while prices in other areas have gone down.

I won't post a link with over 300 characters. Usually people trying to stuff keywords into the description.

My link is two links One home page and one inner page. I also have NO ISSUE doing the same for the link partner. I do not like LP's who request more because it looks ridiculous but I ask THEM to reformat their link, I do not do it for them. I just think that is common "link" courtesy.

I will sometmie accommodate this type of request if the page linking back to my site has very good PR.

I typically say it's a 1 for one deal, that way I dont have to argue over who gets how many links and where.

...but that's free content....that's not all links. It could help to make you link page more like a content page....especially if you post it towards the bottom.
