Default Looking for an IDX solution

    Hi,

I am looking for an IDX solution that will fit on my. Ideally I would like it to be totally independent of the other stuff on the pages. Not a simple frame, but something dynamic that I can add.

You are in Sandicor correct? Real Estate Webmasters is a Sandicor Vendor and offers solutions both hosted or iframed. You have said something you can add - can you clarify this?

I am looking for something that I can add to my homes.com site, the link is below. I was really hoping for something that I could set up myself, and not have pay someone to do.

Yeah that is not likely going to happen (At least not with a home.com site) - if you are looking for free, or at least do it yourself, you may want to check out open realty, it certainly leaves a lot to be desired and you would still need a new web host to handle all of the sandicor data, but hey for open source what can one really expect

I guess I should post here as well. I am looking for a better IDX than I have now as well. I was looking at IDX Pro - anyone have any opinions? I want to be able to do custom searches like Tampa4U.com has - she has them broken down by price range, communities, etc. and is using IDX Pro.

Liane: Are you direct competition with her? If not, why not just ask her?

PS: Please remove the active rain link and review REW rules, we have a 3 link sig max - thanks for your compliance

Free stuff is worth what you pay for it... well built sites can generate lots of commissions.

I nearly forgot about Open-Realty. I used this open source technology about a year ago or so, and it was so-so. Make sure that you have a go-to person for coding and technical issues; I didn't find it to be very agent-friendly.

I've never posted so many hyphenated words in a post before. Cool.

I can help you find houses for sale in Houston and also write at this blog dedicated to real estate technology for agents. I originally created this Houston Real Estate site and switched to REW - awesome decision.
