You can specify whether to direct to www or not in the backend manager.
Don't take this stuff to heart... When someone asks for a critique, I feel like it would be wrong of me to keep my mouth shut, so I tend to be brutally honest.
Personally... I don't like the asp navigational redirect. If you click a nav link on the left, it takes you to a page with frames.
Also, I don't see a lot of contents for search engines to grab onto...
You have a bunch of banners at the bottom that don't add any benefit to the reader. If people want fishing lures, they'll go to a website about fishing. If people want the weather, they'll go to weather.com.
You have too many navigation links. When people go to a real estate site, they want one thing... To see houses. If you give them a hundred links to read through, they get irritated and go somewhere simple.
A couple things
1) I would remove any offsite links on your homepage, especially the so called "awards" and shorten the home page so It doesnot scroll so far down. They do not increase your credibility and are doing the link to party much more benefit then your receiving. Especially of your site is new and in need of pr why give the little bit of pr you receive to increase someonelse's????
(I used to have the same things)
2) I would make a seperate page for LP's such as an unframed page... benfeldmanrealty.com/resources
NOT benfeldmanrealty.com/Nav.aspx/Page=/FavoriteLinks/default.aspx
Hope this helps.
Hi, I think you've got a great start, and it will only get better. From a marketing standpoint, I'd suggest using some copy on the home page about why a prospect should work with you over other agents. Being #1 may not do it.![]()
If you're looking for search engine rankings, I'd suggest thinking about what keywords you're going after. The search engines change constantly, but in general, they're looking for your Page Title, description, keywords and copy to match, or to be "relevant" to the search someone initiates.
Your home page title is Arizona Real Estate, which is repeated in your description and at the top of your website. I'd recommend doing some research into what search terms would be most effective for you. How many times does someone do a search for Arizona real estate? From what I've seen, people tend to do searches related to a city or county. There are lots of ways to research keywords. An inexpensive tool I like is at WordTracker.com. It gives you a lot more information than just a list of how many times a particular search was entered into the engines.
You might also want to look at the width of your site. From what I can see, though I could be wrong and don't have time to really check it out, someone using 800x600 screen resolution would have to scroll from side to side as well as up and down to view your site. And, you know people don't like to scroll!
Hope this helps.
