If you want to do that, i its better to post it on your website first, that way if there are to be any dup penalties, you're the original publisher..

Thanks for the great information on submitting articles. I am still a little confused on what Google Guidelines are for duplicate content, but I get most of it.

This is one of my stumbing blocks. Findidng interesting and useful stuff to write about on a continual basis. I get brain ache at times, and I feel that I am creating things to write about for simply that reason and not for the true purpose of being helpful and being an authority in my area.

You could use a service like ELANCE or believe it or not Rent-a-coder, just ask for generic real estate articles, get like 10 for $50 bucks!

i would say it depends on the article. for example if you/company are mentioned or referred to in a particular article by respected media source or some type of AP, then you might want to post that article on your site with link out to main source of article...then do some type of press release linking back to your site refrencing article as opposed to orginal source of article.

Jason - IMHO, it's a non-issue. Put the articles on your site if you have a good reason to have them there. If there's not a good reason for them there, then don't. They're not going to hurt you, but they're not going to help you.

If you are looking for good ideas to write on you can browse Q & A sites like yahoo answers, help.com, yedda.com etc and look for questions about real estate. These are questions from real people so you know what bother people and what kind of information they are looking for.
