    Eric:
How do you set up an alert with yahoo? It gives you a list of alerts - how do you creat your own with your site and name?
    thanks.

I was just going to ask that.

Gave me a list of categories - which do you pick, or how do you get it set up?

Is it under the FEED/BLOG section? (thats the only place I see that would be appropriate to enter the URL)

Not sure I understand what these google alerts mean. Set up one with my name and I am getting emails showing my articles being posted on various blogs. But also getting alerts with emails that just go back to my website. What does that mean?

The alerts just pick up anything with your name or whatever it is you set it up for. It doesn't mean anything. They are supposed to be new additions to the web but that is not always the case.

If someone posts something mean about you this might help you find it before the general public does.

Eric (Bramlett) I got a google alert today of the article I wrote for your website! Funny cuz that has been out there a long time. I re-read it today and I thought "damn I did a good job on that article". Guess google likes it too! I'm having fun with these alerts.
