    I've submitted to Digg.

Its had limited success. I think you get more short term juice from other sites like the REW blog, and activerain.

Long term juice, you'd probably be better to just post it on your own site.

    My 2 cents.

I thought digg.com was more of a tech-current events type of social networking site? You may be better off just posting the articles in a REW blog or an active rain account, unless its a really outrageous news worthy piece.

Digg isn't an article submission site, it's more of a social bookmarking site. I've gotten thousands of visitors and links to sites through the use of Digg, though it does depend heavily on the type and delivery of the content.

Yep. DIGG is more suited to technology and tech issues IMO and as Disco says--with the right issue, ocial bookmarking can work really well in getting attention and traffic and as a result, links.
It is usually opinion driven and especially if you are out in front of a controversial issue, it can be a very good vehicle IMO..
