Unreachable URL`s on crawl issue??!!

Hi,

I have a number of unreachable url`s (12) showing on G webmasters, now these are all asp files that are old and have been removed when we changed to php.

Will this affect my ranking and how can I get rid of them? I am told that they will be removed when G updates its database? Is this correct or is there another way?

You can wait and they will eventually disappear or you can manually remove them through google webmaster tools under "URL removal".

I've seen the same thing on webmaster tools. They go away over time, new ones appear and then they go away. Doesn't seem to affect SERPs.

It says "Ensure requests for the page return an HTTP status code of either 404 or 410"

Where mine are all 500 Internal server error`s?

Can I still go ahead and remove as they have been there for months now even though the files dont exist on the server?

My god .. for some weird reason, google is now finding pages I deleted like 2 years ago ..lol

i stopped asking google to remove url .. just too much of them

Since I have removed these url`s its taking 2 days so far and still not finished to crawl the site.

I am still waiting for this crawl that I submitted on 26th, its status is still pending? Any idea why it is taking so long it never usually does unil I used the URL removal?

Any ideas?
