    Default Security issues with Joomla?

It's being fixed, but look at it www.propertyhogs.com
I'm glad I have a backup. What scares me is that this was the latest version of Joomla I have downloaded. Has anyone here been hacked as well?

I put the temporary page back on. Sorry, should have taken a screenshot. It had a page saying we've been hacked with Turkish music on it. Seems quite a few Joomla based sites have been hacked recently. Hope they're working on something to secure things better.

Damn. That sucks. I was looking at doing Joomla for a new web site. Well, maybe this will be a good learning experience for them.

I saw that last night around 11pm my time and was going to call you today.
If you are looking for San Diego Real Estate or you want to view San Diego MLS listings (or at least that portion of the data feed that SANDICOR allows us to display on our websites) go to a local San Diego County real estate Agent's Site.

I am a developer and I started using joomla few years back for my client thinking its good product and I can deliver product quickly. I admit joomla has lots of add on which are free but since its free every 2/3 month I find myself one of the site is hacked specially by turkish hacker. Anyway I stopped doing joomla site for my clients but I do own about 21 websites using joomla and I make sure I update them and make sure them secure.

So I would recommend you to stay away from joomla if you are not an expert .

    Hey! SHHHHHHH!

Just did a back up - I'm okay for now. My site has been hacked before though. It wasn't defaced or anything, but the backend was torn to pieces, files were deleted, and I had to start over. Backups are stupendous. (I didn't back up regularly back then, but hey, I learned my lesson)

I can help you find houses for sale in Houston and also write at this blog dedicated to real estate technology for agents. I originally created this Houston Real Estate site and switched to REW - awesome decision.
