Newbie Question...

Article writing is all new to me so forgive the question...

I have had a few articles published which I am pleased about, now I understand the concept of the exposure etc for your site but how important is it if there are no links to your site, are you happy enough just to get the url mentioned or the company name?

Any more clarity would be great or tips!

You want a link back to your website...it's your primary concern. Now, there are exceptions - if it's published in a place that might benefit you just from the mention (your city newspaper, other publications in your city, etc...)

Thanks Eric, I think you shared a very nice list not so long ago I`ll have to scan through it and see who accepts link backs.

A majority of the sites eric recommended accept sites with anchor text. Anchor text is also important.
