Restaurant Reviews

I think I have come up with a great idea. I am going to incorporate a "restaurant reviews" sections in my blog. While this may not be directly real estate related, I think it is not that far of a stretch as people always want to know about restaurants in their community. I think this will also bolster my credibility as a local expert. Not to mention, that if I use these restaurant reviews on my blog it becomes a bona fide tax deduction.

Has any body else done this? Does this seem like a good idea?

I think it is a great idea! It also will help build your SOI - be sure to contact those restaurants you are writing on and let them know about the post, ask if they have anything to add, and if they have a website invite them to link to it from their website

That is a good idea. The more knowledgeable you seem about your area(and the things in it), I'd say the better it looks to potential clients.

I have already done that on my local blog brandonfloridablog , It's amazing that some restaurants don't even have a website and it is pretty easy to rank in the serps for the restaurant name city.
