    Default New testimonials page

Ok guys, so I am thinking less is more on this one, but I am not sure and wanted to get some feedback - I am creating a testimonials page here at REW (Have only put a few up to get some feedback) you can view the page at http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/...lio/accolades/

Now my question is - (And I have been tempted but avoided doing it) - do I need to spice the page up or should I leave very textual such as it is now?

Thanks for the feedback ladies and gents.

    Actually....

I rather like the way this page looks mostly. It is clean, easy to read, and adding decoration to it might be more distracting.

Only thing I noticed was in 800x600 [which is the resolution of the monitor at my dispatch job place] is there is a LOT of white space to the right, and the left margin is right at the edge of the browswer.

using IE on Window XP @ 800x600

    Hope this helps!

Personally, I think you should leave it as text. Anyone that would click on a testimonial page is looking for just that. I think a client would be turned off if they were blasted with a bunch of graphics there. If anything, at the very most, maybe a picture of the client giving the testimonial but I wouldn't go further than that.

I feel that right now, it's nice and clean... but it still feels like it's missing something. Maybe a graphic or two? Pictures of the clients by their names?

The problem is that if you DO add something, there is a chance of ruining the cleanliness of the page. It may look cluttered.

I thought about that, but have you ever seen Marc Rasmussen? It's not pretty

I agree with Nick. There should be some graphic - maybe a screenshot of the site?

    Or...

That baby blue bar... that has the two selections "Portfolio" and "Accolades"..

You could take that bar and use it to highlight the accolade's names like so:

    __________________________________________________ ______
    Benjamin Dona <blue bar>---------------------------------------|
    __________________________________________________ ______

Gulf Coast Associates (http :// www findsouthwestfloridahomes com)

I've been toying with the idea of upgrading to a custom website design for about six months. Like many REALTORS®, I began my web presence with one of the standard template sites and was tired of dealing with all of its inadequacies. In fact, had I not found Real Estate Webmasters in August of 2005, the site would have remained a complete waste of time and nothing more than a glorified business card......"

That may add some spice to the page.

Changing your quotes to a baby blue would add a nice accent. Also you have no end quotes. Intentional?

I agree with Fort Lauderdale - a screenshot of their sites beside the quotes would look good. It will add weight to the quotes showing that they come from clients with professional looking sites and if nothing else it further advertises your work!
