Default Website is up, sort of

    Hello,

I just started my site, www.angelarey.com I should have my license by the end of next week.

Feedback is welcome! I'm getting my picture done this week or next, that's just a placeholder.

I'm trying to use the branding provided to me by prudential. I'm noticing alot of websites are using the branding rules that the company has put out. Is that common???? I use to do the web admin for www.conseco.com and I was the one making sure the right color green and the right logos were used correctly prior to somebody publishing a site to either the internet/ intranet. Are you guys all using branding??? I'm sure one day when I own my own city, I won't use branding unless it was my own.

    Well, thanks for looking,
    Angela

I should have been more specific.

You have link placeholders on your home page, when do you plan to have those up and running?

As soon as I figure how much content i want to provide. I'm working on the "about angela" because that's about all I know

I'm not sure the direction I want to go for the buyers / sellers. I don't know if I want a ton of information or just one page.

I'm hoping this will be done by the end of the week............... HOPE......... oh wait, it's 30 mintues till friday, wont be getting done this week. Ha ha.

    Hi Angela,

I think using the company's logos can be useful esp. if they have a respected name. My company wants their logo on my homepage as well as a link to their site. I've added their logo, however since their site competes with mine (and is #1 in G for my main KW's), there is no way I'm linking to them Also, you can use their branding on your site and still have your personal brand much more prominent. After all, you're the one paying for and spending the time to create it.

    Good Luck with the site.

PS: Don't forget some resource pages so you can start a link campaign

I have a ton of affliate programs (ebay, amazon, google) but according to prudential, i have to have a seperate page that does not have the prudential logo. So I guess I can have a page that has some stuff on it w/o the logo, but then the standards say that every page will include your broker's name.

Who knows... take a look at my graphic (it's supposed to be me). I've made my mind up, I don't want a real picture out there.

I love the graphic but on my office monitor your home page doesn't fit. I would have to scroll to see it all (scroll to the right).
Money Magazine says that Orland Park real estate is one of the best places to live in the U.S. Check out Homer Glen homes if you're interested in living in the newest Chicago suburb. Next door, Lemont homes are the priciest in the southwest suburbs and have held their value, even appreciating while prices in other areas have gone down.

I like the bg gradient and love the concept of the cartoon lady, I would not change it for the world, however the rest of the page is pretty unpolished. How are you editing these pages, if you have even limited html skill I would be willing to recode it for you so that it is a little cleaner and more appealing (Using the same girl graphic cause I think it is slick!)
Starting LEC 7 soon but it won't be called LEC 7 - LEC 2012 coming soon!
