iWebTools has a PR tool as well as a PR prediction tool.

Ultimately though i'd suggest you stop wasting your time! Pagerank is a pointless and unreliable method of showing a websites importance... concentrate on your SERPs and you'll get much better results!

I have a site that claims to be PR4 I'm looking at acquiring but I want to confirm it.

For valuation, I would look at verifiable traffic reports and placement in major search engines. Are you looking to buy the domain name or the site with content? Also look at site structure to see if internal pages appear in search results.

I like this tool at livepr. It claims to check a bunch of data centers. I'm not really sure how accurate it is, but it does show some interesting things when pages seem to be updating PR or that PR is cascading through the data centers.

I don't like that tool at all. It says my site has a PR of 0 where as www .widexl.com says my site has a PR of 3 Now I guess which is accurate if ether.
