REW Blog - Any Cheep or free way of getting the address to people without having to give them the whole address string.

I wanted to use the information in this blog post in a printed mailer / hand delivered piece to my geographic farm. Then I can give them a chance to go to the related link, but I really don't want to have to give out the whole string address like it appears above. I want to get them to the blog post and then possibly they will also look at some of the other stuff, and know me better.

Tinyurl is great. For those of you that haven't used them yet, you give them a url, and they convert it to a few ASCII characters, and it basically redirects them.

Another way to do it, would be to make a page on your website, like /blog redirect to your REW blog. This way it gets your site out, it's short, AND they get to the blog easily.

That's a great idea! If you have domain ownership and control, you could also redirect a subdomain.

For example: 123easyst.myhomehouston.com

Could redirect anywhere I want it.

I was waiting for the office head shots to be taken, so yes, I finally have my picture up

And while tiny works, you might want to look into using your own site, and just doing a redirect. The more exposure you give your URL the better. You can use a subdomain too (blog.yoursite.com) to make it simple to know.

Yeah I would do www.jamesboyer.com/blog/ and then do a 301 redirect in your htaccess file to your REW Blog.

Another option, just send them to your hopepage, and use RSS reeder on your RSS feed to place that feed in your homepage, so they can read all your recent blog posts.

Thanks Morgan, I have tried doing the RSS feed with my REW blog on my site but it just does not want to work.
