Now I understand what you're saying. I don't use article spinners for this purpose either and would also not recommend it. What you're talking about is what I would call spam also. It will get you banned from article submissions if you're caught and with some places like Buzzle it takes some work to get approved as an author.
I use an article spinner to re-write the article before submitting it to several different distribution sites. For example, I'll submit one copy to Buzzle, then spin it and submit one to Ezines, then spin it and submit a copy to I-Snare etc. It's no different than pretty much everyone does - only most people do a manual re-write and only do it 5 times or so. I use a spinner program to do it and I do it 600 times.
I do this so that Google doesn't drop a bunch of copies of my article from the main index as duplicate content comming from two different domains (which it does for a lot of my articles that aren't spun).
