Default Can someone explain how rss feeds work?

I visited Google reader and subscribed to some valuable news feeds and included REW in my list. However, how do I provide these news feeds and blog feeds on my webpage to create new content?

So you don't just want to read them, you want to have the feed appear on a page on your site?

I spend a lot of time at my site. In fact I have a link to my blog at REW on my home page (I post from there daily). I would read the feeds, if they appeared at my site. Yes, making the feeds appear on my site would be great. How is this done?

You need to install a parser or reader on your site - do you have ftp access to your website, or if using a template or CMS powered site, does your vendor have the flexibility?

If you don't have the ability to add a parser, you can do it using javascript. Search rss feeds on Google and you'll find a couple of solutions that are pretty easy to add to your page. It's not the best because it is not spiderable, but at least you can have it for your users.

I think I am going for the easy way out. I found an RSS-to Javascript feed converter. see my page: http:// www. nuagerealestate .net/index.htm

    Thanks for the help.

I have the same basic question. I currently have two separate blogs, one on typepad and another here at REW. I just added a blog to my new REW site and would like to publish all the blog posts to the new blog.

I know what I want to do, I just don't know how to do it.

You want to combine both rss feeds into one or have all of the posts on both sites appear in one place?

You could try this tool to put feed content on your pages. It allows you to put RSS info on your page with PHP, so it is spiderable.

    http://www.rss-info.com/en_rssinclude.html

It's very easy to set up. (Co-branded, though).
