I have read some stuff about the Google link snippets and have found nothing definitive on exactly how to get Google to display them for my site. Without knowing too much about it, I can see it as having multiple benefits to any SEO campaign. Having a "clickable sub-directory" in the listing creates more visibility (obviously) and more direct route to the information being searched down by the user.
To see an example of Google link snippets, Google "gander mountain"
Here is what I have learned from the limited amount of information that is out there:
- Some people say it is the traffic that gets Google to display your listing with the link snippets. If this is true, what is the level of traffic required?
- The listings that do get the link snippets are ranked #1 but not all #1 search listings have them.
Does anyone out there know how to get Google to list your #1 ranked site this way?
